# Translate Your Custom Forms

This guide will walk you through all the places within your custom form where you can change the default text. Whether you need to rewrite the text or translate it, follow the steps below.

This guide will walk you through all the places within your custom form where you can change the default text. Whether you need to rewrite the text or translate it, follow the steps below.

## Changing Form Outputs

1.  Go to the **Sign Customiser** Admin:

    -   **Universal subscribers**: Go to **Home** in your account.

    -   **Shopify users**: Navigate to **Shopify admin** → **Apps** → **Sign Customiser**.

2.  Click on **Customisers** in the menu.

3.  Select the **customiser** you want to edit.

4.  In the left-hand menu, go to **Forms**.

5.  In the **Form Settings** section, you will find text fields for error messages and other form-related text. Customise these fields to suit your language and wording preferences.

6.  Save your changes to apply the updates.

## Changing Individual Form Field Text

## Changing Links Between the Custom Form and Visualiser Options

1.  Go to the **Sign Customiser** Admin:

    -   **Universal subscribers**: Go to **Home** in your account.

    -   **Shopify users**: Navigate to Shopify admin → Apps and select **Sign Customiser**.

2.  Click on **Customisers** in the menu.

3.  Select the **customiser** you want to edit.

4.  In the left-hand menu, go to **Custom Designs**.

5.  In the **Labels for Links** section, update the following:

    -   **Phrase to show custom design form** – This link appears at the bottom of the selections, allowing users to access the custom form from the customiser (only on mobile).

    -   **Phrase to link back to Text Customiser** – This text appears as a link for users to return to the main customiser selections from the custom form tab.

## Changing the Default "Custom" Tab Text

By default, the tab for the custom form in the visualiser is labeled **"Custom"**.

You can modify this text as follows:

1.  Go to the **Sign Customiser** Admin:

    -   **Universal subscribers**: Go to **Home** in your account.

    -   **Shopify users**: Navigate to Shopify admin → Apps and select **Sign Customiser**.

2.  Click on **Customisers** in the menu.

3.  Select the **customiser** you want to edit.

4.  In the left-hand menu, go to **Language**.

5.  In the **Main** tab, locate the **Main** section and update the text in the **Custom Design Tab** field.

6.  Save changes.
