# Activating customisers

You can make a customiser active or inactive. When creating or duplicating a new customiser on your store, you may see that the state of a customiser can be either "Active" or "Inactive". You must be subscribed to a paid plan before you can activate a customiser on your store.

When creating or duplicating a new customiser on your store, you may see that the state of a customiser can be either "Active" or "Inactive".

## To change the state of a customiser from "Inactive" to "Active" do the following.

1.  Navigate to "Customisers" in our apps admin

2.  Click on the three dots (...) on the right-hand side of customiser you wish to edit

3.  Click on Edit

4.  Ensure "Activate customiser" is checked.
