# Mountings

Display mounting options for the backboards The mounting feature allows you to add various mounting options for your backboards. Mountings are supplementary costs, not base pricing. Mounting fees (one-time or percentage) are added on top of the base sign price. To configure your primary pricing, go to Core Setup → Pricing. For product-specific pricing per component, see Letter Types or Lightbox Types under Sign Components. Note: only the "Board" backboard type visually displays mountings in the visualiser. Follow this guide to configure mountings for your customiser.

Follow this guide to configure mountings for your customiser.

## Configuring Your Mountings

1.  Go to the **Sign Customiser** app settings and select the customiser you want to edit.

2.  From the left-side menu, click on **Mountings**.

3.  Optional: Change the **Title** and **Description** for the mounting section.

4.  To add a new mounting click on **Add Mounting**.

5.  Enter a **label** and **description** (optional) for the mounting type.

6.  Choose one of the six visual options: **none,** **screw**, **screw cap**, **flag**, **hanging**, or **key ring**.

7.  Use the **Colour** and **Backboard** search fields to exclude this mounting from appearing in those options.

8.  Optional: add a real-life example of the mounting for additional clarity.

9.  Optional: add a one-time fee or a percentage-based markup for the mounting.

10.  Save your new mounting.

11.  Click the **Preview** button (top right) to view your new mounting in the visualiser.
