How to Integrate Sign Customiser with Etsy

Note: To integrate Sign Customiser with Etsy, you need to subscribe to our Universal Plan.
Quick Start Overview
The integration consists of three main steps:
Step 1: Connect Etsy to Sign Customiser
- Log into your Sign Customiser account.
- In the admin sidebar, under Integrate, click Integrations.
- Find the Etsy card and click Connect Etsy.
- Review the confirmation prompt and click Confirm. Etsy is now active across every customiser in your store.
Step 2: Set Etsy Listing Settings per Customiser
- Open the customiser you want to pair with an Etsy listing.
- In the left-hand menu, click Etsy listing settings.
- Paste your Etsy listing URL (it looks like
https://www.etsy.com/listing/...). Customers land here when they click Return to Etsy. - (Optional) Untick Show price if your Etsy listing uses different pricing to the customiser.
- Click Save.
Repeat for each customiser you want to pair with an Etsy listing.
Step 3: Share Your Customiser Link on Etsy
- In the left sidebar, under Your Store, click Hosted Customisers.
- Find your customiser under Compatible Customisers, enable the link, and copy the URL.
- Paste the Customiser Link into your Etsy listing description so buyers can design, copy the structured summary, and complete their order on Etsy.

What Your Customers See
Customers click the Customiser Link from your Etsy listing, design their sign with live pricing and live rendering, copy a clean summary covering size, every line of text, fonts, colours, and options, then click Return to Etsy and paste the summary into the Etsy personalisation box at checkout. Etsy still handles payment, fees, and buyer protection.
