    Lightbox Mounting Visualizations

We’ve added new mounting visualisation options for lightbox signs, making it easier for customers to see exactly how their finished sign will look with hardware attached. These realistic previews help reduce uncertainty and boost buyer confidence.

    Single Column Mounting Kit

The single column mounting kit displays a sleek, vertical mounting post attached to your lightbox sign. This mounting style is ideal for wall-mounted installations where a clean, minimal aesthetic is desired.

Customers can position the column on any side of the lightbox—top, bottom, left, or right—giving them flexibility to match their installation requirements.

    Two-Prong Mounting Kit

The two-prong mounting kit visualises a pair of mounting brackets that provide additional stability and a balanced look. This option is perfect for larger lightbox signs or installations where extra support is needed.

Like the single column option, the two-prong kit can be positioned on any side of the sign, allowing customers to preview the exact configuration they need for their space.

    Improved Image Upload Experience

We’ve enhanced the user experience when customers upload images to be displayed on their lightbox signs.

    Auto-Scroll to Lightbox

When a customer uploads an image to be shown on the lightbox, the 3D viewer now automatically scrolls into view and focuses on the side where the image was applied. This ensures customers can immediately see their uploaded image displayed on the sign without needing to manually navigate or rotate the preview.

    Disable Auto-Scroll Animation

For merchants who prefer a more static experience, or for customers who find the automatic scrolling distracting, you can now disable the auto-scroll animation. This will keep the rotating animation paused on initial load.

Easily display your customiser in a modal (pop-up)

Customisers can now be displayed in a modal with little to no configuration, giving you much more flexibility in how you present your products to customers.

Demonstration of customiser appearing in a modal

    Why use a modal?

Embed on any page with just a button Instead of dedicating an entire page to your customiser, you can now add a simple button anywhere on your site. When clicked, the customiser opens as a modal overlay, keeping your customers on the same page they started on.

Show multiple customisers on one page Want to let customers choose between different sign types on the same page? Now you can. Add multiple buttons that each open different customisers, making it easier for customers to compare options without navigating between pages.

Better user experience The modal approach means the customiser doesn’t take up your entire screen or page layout. Customers can easily close the modal to return to where they were, creating a smoother, less disruptive experience.

Zapier integration for powerful workflow automation

Sign Customiser now integrates with Zapier, unlocking the ability to connect your sign business to over 8,000 apps and 450 AI tools. This powerful integration enables you to automate virtually any workflow, from sending order notifications to your team to updating CRMs and generating invoices automatically.

    Zapier integration triggers

The integration provides three essential triggers that power your automation workflows: new form submissions capture every customisation request as it arrives, new orders trigger actions the moment a customer places an order, and new products notify you whenever a custom sign is created in your catalogue. Each trigger delivers complete event data to your chosen apps, enabling sophisticated automation scenarios that save time and reduce manual work.

Whether you’re syncing customer data to your CRM, sending notifications to Slack, creating invoices in accounting software, or leveraging AI tools for intelligent order processing, the Zapier integration puts the full power of automation at your fingertips. This is particularly valuable for growing businesses looking to scale their operations without adding administrative overhead.

    What’s Changed

    • Three powerful triggers - Automate workflows based on form submissions, new orders, and product creation events
    • 8,000+ app connections - Integrate with popular tools like Slack, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, Airtable, and many more
    • 450 AI tool integrations - Leverage artificial intelligence for order processing, customer communication, and business insights
    • Real-time automation - Actions trigger instantly when events occur in your Sign Customiser account
    • Complete event data - Each trigger provides full details about submissions, orders, and products for sophisticated workflows

Download all fonts as a zip file

Sign Customiser now allows merchants to download all fonts used in a customiser as a single zip file, streamlining the workflow between design and production.

This feature is particularly valuable when sharing font files with print shops or production partners who need the exact typefaces for custom sign manufacturing.

    feature lightbox

Enhanced admin UI for channel letter and lightbox signs

Sign Customiser has redesigned the merchant admin experience specifically for channel letter and lightbox sign configuration. The enhanced interface makes it easier to set up and manage the complex multi-component structure of illuminated signs with clearer terminology, nested navigation, and context-aware guidance.

    What’s Changed

    • Letter Components navigation - The “Letter Types” section has been renamed to “Letter Components” with new nested navigation, making it intuitive to configure the building blocks of channel letter and lightbox signs
    • Clearer component structure - Better visual organisation helps you understand how face, sides, trim, back-lit (halo), borders, and internal lighting components fit together
    • Context-aware setup guidance - Onboarding instructions now specifically explain how to configure channel letter components (like 3D Illuminated Letters with face, sides, trim) and lightbox components (face, back, sides, borders)
    • Enhanced colour previews - Visual colour swatches now appear throughout the admin interface, making it easier to manage the multiple colour options available for different sign components
    • Improved product type forms - The interface for assigning colours, materials, and pricing to individual letter components has been redesigned for better clarity
    • Frame Fit pricing clarity - Setup instructions for lightbox signs now clearly explain the area-based pricing calculation (width × height) used for frame-focused designs
    • Better visual hierarchy - Cards and tables have been refined to reduce clutter when working with multi-layered component configurations

    feature neon

    UV print on neon signs

Sign Customiser supports UV printing on neon signs, but UV print works differently from tube colours. Tube colours are still a manufacturer-defined LED palette. UV print is the printed face layer.

For AI Sign Designer uploads, Sign Customiser now preserves the original artwork colours on the printed face instead of remapping them to merchant UV swatches. This keeps logos and multi-colour artwork accurate while still matching glow and tube effects to the nearest supported LED tube colour.

That means UV palette colours now have a narrower purpose: they are manual preset swatches for workflows where you intentionally want customers choosing from predefined UV print options. They are no longer the source of truth for AI artwork face colours.

    What’s Changed

    • Preserved AI artwork colours - AI logo uploads keep their original face colours as printed UV data instead of being snapped to a UV palette
    • LED-safe glow matching - Tube and halo colours still match to the nearest supported LED tube colour for accurate illuminated previews
    • Hidden UV workflow support - Merchants can keep UV print available as a hidden print capability without exposing manual UV palette choices in the main neon editor
    • Manual UV presets still available - UV palette entries remain useful for merchant-managed manual UV print presets and legacy face workflows
    • Clearer display values - When preserved artwork colours appear in admin or order data, they are labelled as Custom UV (#HEX) so they are not confused with palette selections

    Per-Word Measurements

You can now see the exact measurements for each individual word on your sign, not just the overall sign dimensions. Simply select any word to view its specific height, width, and sizing details.

These measurements are currently only supported on signs using either the Multi Color/Font or Drag/Scale/Rotate feature. You can disable this feature in the settings page under “Measurements for individual sign parts”.

We’ve also resolved an issue where resizing individual words wouldn’t properly respect your minimum font height settings. Now when you drag to resize any word, the system correctly checks that word’s size requirements, ensuring your text always meets your specified minimums.
