Share Custom Sign Designs

Customers can share their current design with other people or on another device.

When a customer clicks the share option, a modal shows a unique URL. The customer can copy this URL.

• Anyone who opens the shared link goes to the customiser with the same selections.

• A new shared link stops working 365 days after the customer creates it.

• When Share Sign Location is not Disabled, the Share my design button shows after the customer adds text to the sign. In the visualiser, the button shows only with Options screen & Review screen, and there it also shows for an AI sign designer design. On lightbox customisers with Options screen & Review screen, the visualiser can also show a share icon without a text label before the customer adds text.

How to Enable the Sharing Feature

1. Open the Sign Customiser admin:

   • Universal subscribers: Go to Home in your account.

   • Shopify users: Open the app in your Shopify admin.

2. Click Customisers in the menu.

3. Select the customiser you want to edit.

4. In the left-hand menu, go to Features → Share and Save.

   

5. In the Share Sign Location list, select one of these options:

   • Disabled – The Share my design button does not show. Links that customers already created still open until they expire.

   • Options screen & Review screen – The sharing button shows in the visualiser and on the review screen. For the button to show on the review screen, turn on the review screen.

   • Review screen only – The sharing button shows on the review screen only. Turn on the review screen first.

6. Click Save.

If the Share Sign Location list is locked, your plan does not include sharing. To change your plan, go to Billing (Shopify: Subscription/Credit).
