Lightbox mounting options
Show a 3D visual of your lightbox's mounting hardware — Single Prong, Double Prong, Pedestal, or Sign Feet — in the customiser and product images.
Last updated:
Lightbox signs can show a 3D visual of their mounting hardware in the customiser, in generated product images, and in the preview. Four visualisation styles show how a lightbox can be mounted.

Visualisation styles
-
Single Prong: one prong on any side you allow (top, bottom, left, or right).
-
Double Prong: two prongs joined by a strap. It works on any side you allow.
-
Pedestal: a vertical pole behind the lightbox with a base plate at the bottom of the pole. You can set the pole width and base depth to match your hardware.
-
Sign Feet: two feet under the lightbox, with a base plate under each foot. You can set the base depth, the post height, and how far each foot is inset from the side edges. The inset is a percentage of the sign width.
Tip: Set the Sign Feet post height to 0 for feet flush against the bottom of the sign.
How to enable
-
Open the Sign Customiser admin and click Customisers.
-
Open the lightbox customiser you want to edit.
-
In the customiser sidebar, go to Sign Components → Mountings.
-
Click Add Mounting to create a mounting. To edit a mounting, click it in the list.
-
Enter a Label. If you leave it empty, the style name fills it in when you pick a style.
-
Scroll to Visualisation.
-
Pick None (no visual), Single Prong, Double Prong, Pedestal, or Sign Feet.
-
Set the options for the style you picked:
-
Pedestal: set the pole width and the base depth.
-
Sign Feet: set the base depth, the post height, and the edge inset. A post height of 0 puts the feet flush against the bottom of the sign.
-
Single Prong or Double Prong: under Prong Attachment Sides, tick the sides that the prongs can attach to (Top, Left, Right, Bottom). Tick at least one side. The form does not save without one.
-
-
Click Save.

What customers see
Customers see the mounting on the 3D sign in the customiser. With Single Prong or Double Prong, customers pick one side from the sides you ticked. If you tick only one side, customers do not see a side choice. The prong then shows on that side.
